Why study Photography?
In taking A Level Photography, you will develop the skills of control and manipulation of media and techniques to create technically and aesthetically accomplished work. The A Level also encourages analytical and critical thinking to appreciate the work of artists and photographers which you will study.
The course encompasses creative problem-solving as you will need to find practical solutions to express your ideas, as well as developing your presentation and communication skills as you share your observations, ideas and feelings through your work.

There is a dedicated Sixth Form Art Room, where scholars can work independently during their free periods. There are trips to Cambridge and London for A Level scholars to visit Art Galleries and to sketch and photograph for project work.
