In Summer 2026, our Sixth Form building underwent a significant refurbishment, creating a modern, welcoming environment designed specifically for post-16 study and independent learning.

The ground floor features a dedicated café and social space where scholars can relax and socialise with friends. This vibrant area provides an important hub for the Sixth Form community, helping scholars build relationships and develop a sense of belonging.

Upstairs, scholars benefit from a range of dedicated study facilities designed to support academic excellence. Quiet study spaces offer the perfect environment for independent work, revision, and research, while the third floor is full of computers, providing access to technology and resources needed for coursework, independent study, and university applications.

Recognising the importance of communication and teamwork skills, the building also includes specialist spaces for group study, collaborative projects, and presentation practice. Whether preparing for assessments, working on enrichment activities, or rehearsing presentations, scholars have access to professional learning environments that help them develop the skills required for university, apprenticeships, and future careers.

Our refurbished Sixth Form centre combines high-quality facilities with a supportive atmosphere, giving scholars the space, resources, and independence they need to thrive both academically and personally.
