Scholars and staff at Longsands Academy, part of Astrea Academy Trust, celebrate as they achieve another set of brilliant A Level/Level 3 results in 2026.

Teenagers across the country are finding out their results today, after sitting exams they took earlier this year in May and June. Young people have recorded excellent achievements at A Level, with the young people of Longsands Academy adding to this success.

Staff at Longsands Academy have worked incredibly hard to ensure their scholars were as prepared as possible for their A Levels. Specifically, the school utilised supplementary educational platforms like Uplearn, offered tailored study clinics, subject masterclasses, and holiday sessions led by specialist teachers, along with individualized pastoral support from the Sixth Form staff.

The extra support paid off, with many scholars achieving excellent results. Thanks to the hard work of both scholars and staff, there is lots to celebrate, with many going on to take up places at university, or on an apprenticeship, as well as those who are entering the workplace.

Among the high performers/special mentions include:

A special thank you also goes to our dedicated staff team, who have supported and encouraged scholars every step of the way. Together, they have helped create some truly outstanding outcomes. We hope our young people take a moment to celebrate with family and friends, reflect on how far they have come, and feel immensely proud of all they have achieved.”
