Why study Physical Education?
Sport has evolved and been revolutionised over many years, from the amount of sport now available to us, to the mechanics behind how we move in sport. A Level PE explores many different aspects of the sporting world.
You will step deep into the history of sport and discover the many contemporary issues that surround sport in today’s society. You will begin to understand the psychology behind great athletes, as well as developing your knowledge and understanding of the importance of your body during exercise.
You will gain vital academic and social skills through both the written and practical aspects of the course. These include analysing and evaluating performance, independent research skills, academic writing and leading and working together in a team.
