Results Day Press Release 2021 Click here to read the results day press release 2021 Sixth Form students at Longsands have achieved extraordinarily well in the summer of 2021. We are immensely proud of all our students and their achievements in gaining entrance post 18 destinations.

Some of our highlights include:

• 2 students going to Oxbridge, both students going to Cambridge. One to study Medicine and the other Archaeology
•  4 students studying Medicine at Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle and Nottingham
• 12 students studying Psychology, at destinations including Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Lincoln 6 students studying Computer Science, at destinations including Southampton and Warwick
• 5 students studying for History, at destinations including Durham and Nottingham
• Three of our students has gained a place in the highly competitive MASS IT Degree Apprenticeship Of our 158 applicants: 37.8% are going to a Russel Group university. 95% are going to their First-Choice destination. The three most popular universities for Longsands students this year are Lincoln with ten students, Anglia Ruskin with eight and Nottingham with five students. The most popular degree subject for Longsands students this year is Psychology, with twelve students studying the subject.
