KS3 Food Technology

This subject will give you a good basis on which to build a career in one of the largest, most dynamic and constantly changing industries, ‘Food and Hospitality.’ KS3 sets the foundations for the GCSE which allows progression to A Level Food or Catering College, more than that though it will give you an understanding of food products, ingredients and cooking methods.

Students who wish to enter careers in Food Science, Catering, Marketing, Hospitality, Sports, Dietetics, Nursing or other Health-related occupations may find the course of benefit.

This encompases a variety of recipes throughout years 7, 8 & 9 where students will learn about nutrition, how to prepare and cook a variety of ingredients also learning how they can adapt recipes to suit a variety of needs.

KS3 Food is the building blocks for progression to GCSE & A Level Food.
