Students wishing to study A Level Fine Art must have studied Fine Art or a general Art course at GCSE and achieved grade 5 or above. The GCSE course of study must have included drawing, as this is a key skill at A Level.

Illustration, Interior Design, Fashion & Textile Design, Teaching, Architecture, Product Design, Art Therapy, Printmaking, Animation, Game Design, Interior and Stage Design, and any field where practical and creative skills are an important aspect of the work.
Fine Art Enrichment and Super-Curricular
There are trips to Cambridge and London for A Level students to visit Art Galleries and to sketch and photograph for project work. Within the department there is a dedicated Sixth Form Art Room, where students can work independently during their free periods.
